My blog’s been neglected a bit. Okay, a lot. I’ve been much better at posting to my FB page.
But, I figure I should post all the things here.
1. Anatomy of a Player will be out January 25th!!! It’s the 2nd book in the Taking Shots series. (Getting Lucky Number Seven was the first)
2. I’m working on a fun western novella for an anthology with a lot of other fun authors that’ll be out in April
3. The next book in the Hope Springs series will release this spring. We’re still throwing around titles, but I’ll let you know when I have one. I can’t wait for you all to meet Cam & Emma, though!
4. I’m one of the authors features in The Romance Reviews’ Mega Anniversary and Valentine’s Party in February. It’s going to be a lot of fun, so you all should check it out.
5. I just signed a contract for a romantic comedy called 12 Steps to Mr. Right. It’s in the same vein as Cinderella Screwed Me Over, and I’ve also pitched it as the female Hitch. Here’s a non-official summary to give you an idea what it’s about.
Savannah Gamble has not only discovered the 12 Step Program to finding Mr. Right, she’s built a career on it. Her workshops, which even include field trips to bars, book several sessions in advance and help women identify red flags versus the traits that one finds in commitment-ready guys. As soon as they’re done with her workshop, each student will be ready to get out there and find the perfect man, no more wasting time with jerks or relationships that never go anywhere.
When Lincoln Wells, a guy from her past reappears—a guy who’s responsible for more than one of her “avoid falling for this type” steps—she knows better than to get sucked back in by his charms and the way her body automatically responds to his. In theory. As he’s messing with her steps, her head, and her heart, she keeps forgetting her rules and doing everything she tells her students not to do. Suddenly she’s wondering if she’s been looking for Mr. Right in all the wrong places.
