After several years of rejection, I was so lucky to be signed with two different publishers in a matter of weeks. Which works out well, because sometimes I feel like writing more contemporary mystery or magical realism and sometimes I feel like writing urban fantasy. And in urban fantasy especially, I LOVE a kickass heroine! When I got the cover for Demons of the Sun I totally squealed, and I’m usually not the squealing type. But it was everything I wanted and more.
